We are proud to say that we’ve gone international this spring with a very special edition to our collection and our first series North of the Border, Vancouver Fire & Rescue Canada. We were fortunate to stumble upon photographer Shane MacKICHAN who has certainly captured the essence of this world-renowned Canadian Fire department. With Shane’s help and stunning photography, we couldn’t have asked for a better set to begin a new & exciting series of hopefully, many more exciting sets from other great Canadian Fire Departments, and perhaps even in other countries as well who have lots to offer in terms of history and apparatus. Vancouver Fire & Rescue has an unprecedented history dating back to 1886 and setting the standards for many other profound Canadian Fire Departments who followed in their footsteps. This set features their current apparatus from the 1983 Pemfab/Pierreville Ladder still in service to the new 2001 Spartan Gladiator/Smeal Tower. 18 Cards
