Description   Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was created by State law in 1984 to provide fire and emergency medical services to portions of the unincorporated area and select municipal areas of Palm Beach County. They cover 1,813 square miles and provide services to approximately 746,000 residents throughout the County. In addition to providing fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation and emergency medical (advanced life support) services, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue provides a number of other services related to protecting the lives and property of its citizens.
