The city of Las Vegas, known world wide for it’s casinos, is also home to one of the most exciting Fire Agencies in the world who helps protect the rapidly growing number of residents and the millions of visitors the city attracts each year. The city currently employs more than 584 dedicated employees and plans to hire more as the city continues to grow. Recently, the department purchased 28 new Pierce units which consist of 19 pumpers, 5 Ladder Trucks, a hazardous material response unit, a technical rescue response unit, an air & light resource unit, and a 3,000 Gallon water tender.
