The city currently employs more than 584 dedicated employees and plans to hire more as the city continues to grow. Recently, the department purchased 28 new Pierce units which consist of 19 pumpers, 5 Ladder Trucks, a hazardous material response unit, a technical rescue response unit, an air & light resource unit, and a 3,000 Gallon water tender.
